The Door is Open

One of the difficulties enquiring about Freemasonry is not knowing who to ask.

If you ask the internet (try any search engine), then you’re quite likely to be bombarded with all sorts of wild and strange stories…

If you wanted to learn how to bake a cake, you’d probably not get the best answer from a lawn-mower…

Freemasonry is a society of men concerned with moral and spiritual values. Its members are taught its principles (moral lessons and self-knowledge) by a series of ritual dramas – a progression of allegorical two-part plays which are learnt by heart and performed within each Lodge – which follow ancient forms, and use stonemasons’ customs and tools as allegorical guides.

In the UK alone, there are over 250,000 Freemasons which meet regularly in their respective Lodges. Here at Brooke Lodge, we meet on Saturday mornings just 4 times a year. We believe (like all Freemasons) that family comes before Freemasonry, so our meeting times have little or no impact on family and business life.

So, the door is open – if you live in east London or west Essex and you’d like to ask a question about Freemasonry, ask a Freemason and begin to find out why over 250,000 of us enjoy it so much. Please feel free to either call us on 0203 603 6036, or if you prefer, complete the form below. We will respond as soon as possible.
