8AID – it’s coming your way

8Aid is the name for one big weekend of fund raising, fun, innovation – more fun – wacky events – and did we mention fun.

It takes place on June 20th, 21st and 22nd and is set to involve the entire Province of Essex – friends, families and anyone else who wants to enjoy themselves to help raise money for eight very worthy charities – but you can give now by donating via this portal.

They all need your money so in June, Freemasons across Essex will be taking part in a whole series of events – I think we mentioned fun.

You can sponsor those taking part or give via this portal – or simply be there to cheer them on.
See you in June but in the mean time look out for 8Aid in your area.
8Aid Is About:

  • Lifelites, who provide technology for children with life threatening illnesses
  • Essex Air Ambulance – there when you need them most
  • Helen Rollason – Cancer care across Essex
  • TLC – providing teddies for traumatised children in A&E
  • Hamilton Court – helping to care for the elderly
  • Southend and Essex Masonic Welfare Trust – providing essential equipment and more
  • Essex Provincial Charity Fund – support for families in need
  • Stisted – support for residents in sheltered housing

Please log on to www.everydayhero.co.uk/event/C8665A to make a donation, or better still create a Fund Raising Event for your Lodge or Centre.

The obvious fund-raisers are:

  • Sponsored Cycle Ride
  • Sponsored Golf Day
  • Sponsored Walk – point to point with watering holes available… generally popular!
  • Sponsored Run
  • Quiz Night
  • Sunday Luncheon

Remember, this is for family and friends as well as Lodge or Masonic Centre’s
